I thought this was not a news, coz one of my books "Death By Black Hole - And Other Cosmic Quandaries" written by Neil deGrasse Tyson has already talked about the water on the moon long ago.

could you leave a black hole by putting another major source of gravity possibly another black hole to balance out the gravity and before the two gravitational sources collide escape the area of no return. (you might need a 3rd one so you can esape both horizontally and vertically or a 4th one to leave in 3 directions) .

Is the Sun white , or yellow ?

The moon was made of material blasted from earth by many small impacts that formed an accretion disc and then the moon formed from it over millions of years. It was not impacted by a Mars size object. That would have destroyed both planets completely. The water came from earth. Pretty obvious. And if earth is mostly water then the material blasted off would be as well. There is a ton of water on the moon.

the moon was ejected from the earth , due to the centrifugal forces acting on a much faster spinning earth most likely during the formation of the first of the earths polar ice caps as the mass of the waters were evaporated and deposited around the poles just like moving closer to the center of a merry go round causes it to spin faster , anyway the crust of the earth has a massive amount of water locked up in it inside solid rock like the moon does in fact there is enough water locked up in the earths crust to cover the entire planet if the earth ever heats up enough to release this locked up water ... like Noahs flood ... you can actually heat rocks that you find on the earths surface and extract water from them. there are videos on youtube showing this. anyway this is why the moon always faces the earth with the same side , the mass was moving away from the earth but it wasnt spinning faster than the earth so when it was ejected its surface quickly cooled and its insides slowly cooled and a large majority of its heavier materials moved closer to the earth which resist any type of spin by the moon due to the attraction between the earth and this heavier moon material inside the moon , there most likely is a hollow area on the far side of the moon that formed as the moon cooled further. my 2 cents
