Backpack you have to take off and take out camera. This sling style I never got into as the way it sits across shoulder is lame and slinging doesn't work, and mostly can not have a 70-200 mounted and fit. Also it doesn't carry too mcu. The Uprise 38, particularly the older original model is a GREAT bag, and its messenger style. As you said, not great for long trips, but best access.

Personally I think I agree, haven't found a sling style bag yet that I like.

I really like the look of this bag, Currently I carry a sling diaper bag, which I like better than the other ones I've tried so this sling camera bag is very exciting. Very nice review! I too look for comfort in the bag, but quick access is also an important feature. Adding the rain cover is a nice extra too.

Considering I am a student photographer for my school paper, sometimes bringing my camera gear is a bit difficult because I still have to carry around a backpack for school books and such. My dream feature would be a bag with the ability to hold textbooks, gear, and a tablet/notebook for less than $100. Nonetheless, I love messenger style bags, and this seems like a great option!
