The first in a series of videos about my favourite metro system, the Berlin U-Bahn. We see the northern terminus of the U9, Osloer Straße. In English this translates as Oslo Street, which explains the Norwegian flags. The station opened in 1976. Firstly we see a train of F76 units arrive with a terminating service, with an H unit in the opposite platform. The F76s head into the reversing sidings, whilst the H starts its journey down the U9 to Rathaus Steglitz. We then see the F76s come back out of the sidings, and leave the station on board car 2635.
