What about walkable urbanism? Like the kind you have in traditional Italian towns? Seems like self-driving cars will only encourage American-style sprawl.

This video is officially the great thing I have ever seen; very eye opening and informative. Thank you so much for making this!

The question and answer session is the best, genius and funny, you have top leadership quality, you will definitely go far and wide, I only hope I can do my fair share and contribute to the well being of this world, with the limited IQ and options I've got.

Btw, you should reduce the amount of pause and stutter when you speak, its part of your natural speech pattern but it can be smoothed out with practice. The reason I pick on this is because whenever you stutter or pause, I feel like you dont really know what you are talking about, even though you know everything about the subject.
Calm and assertive tone with smooth speech pattern, its how every single politician and Used cars sales man speak, it can attract people to listen to you even if you dont know what you are talking about. -
Fredie, I think you could reach a larger audience base if you look older and beefier. You look way too young and skinny for your age, too much long chromosome tails in your genes.
I know its superficial and shallow but that's what the majority gravitates to, older mature wise man image. I know this personally because I was born with long chromosome tails as well, people just cant take me seriously with a teenage face like mine. -
one correction about Silicon Valley ... the idea of "paid forward" is very selective ... they completely abandoned their US workforce for cheaper off-shore labour ... so, not exactly paying forward anything nice on that score

Great talk. I could watch 10 hours of you talking.

Lecture by Federico Pistono: The Future of Society and new ways of learning. Oslo, Norway November 2013 Help translate the video: http://dotsub.com/view/f6440c77-db07-496d-824f-28b2258afd88 Pistono is the author of "Robots will steal your job, but that's ok: How to survive the economic collapse and be happy" and founder and CEO of Esplori. He held three lectures while he was in the Oslo area. The one on the video was at The University of Life Sciences at Ås (UMB) arranged by StartUMB. The other lectures were held at 657 Oslo: Coworking, communication & purpose, and the last at Chateau Neuf: The Norwegian Student Society arranged by Das Kapital (Radio Nova) and Foreningen for Ressursbasert Økonomi (FRØ). Federico's intro: The pace of technological innovation is speeding up at an ever increasing rate. This is bringing unprecedented and incredibly rapid changes to the economy and society at large, particularly in the job market. Automation is removing jobs like never before, while comparatively few new jobs are being created by the new digital economy. This might be one of the greatest challenges that we've ever faced, but it could also represent our biggest opportunity. What can people and companies do right now to avoid being swept away by the exponentially increasing technologies that are coming to the market? What can governments do to provide for their people? What will be the future of work and of society? What will the transition look like, who will benefit from it, and who will be left behind? I think there is hope for the future, as new technologies for learning and sharing knowledge are becoming more accessible, ubiquitous, and people are engaging more in collaborative, open projects. Years of research, discussion, and activism have shaped my worldview and gave me clarity about how I want to positively impact hundreds of millions of people. I first wrote a book, "Robots Will Steal Your Job, But That's OK", which I released also for free on my website and started a global discussion on the topic, and more recently I founded a startup, Esplori, to enable the sum of human knowledge to be made available to anybody, via online video courses, regardless of their language, geographical location, or financial status. http://www.esplori.net/ http://www.federicopistono.org/ http://ressursbasert.no/ http://www.theresourcebasedeconomy.com/ http://startumb.no/ Filmed by http://www.sandofilm.com/ My book: http://robotswillstealyourjob.com Read my blog: http://federicopistono.org Find me on facebook: http://fb.me/federicopistono.page Follow me on twitter: http://twitter.com/federicopistono Add me on Google+: https://plus.google.com/110999775247847687324 Help us caption & translate this video! http://amara.org/v/FH4T/
