http://www.uis.no/english The University of Stavanger (UiS) has approximately 10,100 students and offers a wide range of study and research programmes. The location of the University, Stavanger, lies on Norway’s south-west coast and is an urban city surrounded by magnificent and diverse landscapes. The UiS consists of the Faculty of Arts and Education, the Faculty of Social Sciences, the Faculty of Science and Technology, and the Museum of Archaeology. Full-time Master's programmes as well as student exchange programmes are offered at the University, which welcomes students from all over the world. The UiS admits around 400 international students every year who form an integral part of the community on campus.
