The Sri Lankan Patriots emphasise that the Norwegian Government should take immediate action against the terrorists involved in the attack on the Sri Lankan Embassy. The task is not difficult as video footage of the terrorists responsible for the attack has already been posted in websites. Parliamentarian Wimal Weerawansa opined the attackers can now be recognized. He queried as to why Norway has so far not taken any action. It indicates that these activities are taking place with their knowledge. If a gang breaks into an Embassy in their country and engages in violent activities it is being done to fulfill a requirement of that Government. Mr. Weerawansa while urging the Norwegian Government to nab the suspects, called on Sri Lanka to cut off diplomatic ties with Norway. The Ven. Elle Gunawansa thera said peace loving people who uphold the unitary nature of the country deplore this incident. He expressed their vehement protest to Norway over this incident.
