@Damienm7 He uses a Air brake in the tail during the short final to slow the plane down and when he touches the ground, spoilers comes opp on the wing destroying the airflow and preventing the plane from getting in the air again, they also make the wheel brakes more effective, And also then he touch the ground he uses the reversed thrust, that pushes the thrust that goes out of the engine forward.
