In December 2012, the biannual meeting of the Norwegian Herpetological Association took place at the Reptile Park here in Oslo. It's so cool to be there after opening hours. :-) I was of course at the meeting - in fact I did a little presentation of the Galápagos Islands, showing photos from my trip there in the spring - and of course seized the opportunity of getting some video of the many interesting animals the Park keeps. This video shows the razor-backed musk turtle, Sternotherus carinatus. As you can see, the Park's specimens are still babies. They are seriously the cutest thing ever. :-) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Razor-backed_musk_turtle The Park is within easy walking distance of downtown Oslo and is well worth a visit if you ever get the chance. http://www.reptilpark.no/ http://www.herpetologisk.com/
