Im from Iraq and lived In Norway about 14 years and i see Norway one of the best in the world. People here are kind and friendly, its boring in Norway when it comes to entertainment. But the people they are kind and friendly.

Basically most people are not in the mood to talk to strangers when they are out doing whatever. Norwegian people are kind of closed in people. They find it rude when someone confronts them in public. Most people wont mind if you confront them nicely because you never know who you are talking with. So instead of "Hey how's it going?" go "Hello excuse me".Ofcourse it really helps if you're talking Norwegian but most Norwegians know English very well. The ones that speak the best english in my opinion are the ones in the age between 15-30. And I'm sorry if there are some assholes in Norway who sneak in line or bumps into you, but the truth is that there are assholes everywhere. I'm sorry if my english is bad. Im 14 years old and I'm from Norway.

People are strange, uncivil, and people who work in public office have no knowledge about their own job. I mean if you work for example, job office, you have to have general knowledge about jobless benefits. No body give you job if he don't know you also if you have skills, but at the same time they give job by friends. With costly city and uncivil people it's kind a heal.

Norway has become a fucking Muslim 3rd world shit hole.

Not all of Norway is like this :(

As to drugs , it's not just Oslo that's bad : Stavanger , Arendal....heck even the small place of Alta (way up north) have problems with drugs !

"Oslo is heaven for thieves"
Yup , gotta be careful...esp in the summer time. But it's not just Oslo , it can happen in Trondheim too. -
When I lived in Belfast, I used to slag off the Belfastards that Oslo is worse on a Sunday night than Belfast during marching season (12th July)...
Apart from the last 10 years I've been living abroad most of the time, Oslo has been my home most of my life. And I can relate. It's one of the most soulless, spiritless shittiest capitals I have ever encountered. And I have been to many.
Some of my countrymen may blame Socialists, immigrants, or what have you, but I'm more pissed off about my monocultural gutterball countrymen who represents all the BAD things about my country and culture.
Oslo is a city slicker town...And off course despised by the rest of the country. Go to Bergen next time... -
Yeah, Norway sucks. People are cold and rude. They do stare without smiling and they push and don't say excuse me. They are even worse if possible than the Danes (where I was an exchange student) Nasty food, rude people, highest prices in the world, crap weather, arrogance like you've never seen. Worst. Country. Ever. And to the person who said they're tired of tourists? Really? I live in coastal Los Angeles, a tourist mecca and we are never rude to them no matter how many there are. We want them to have a good impression of our city. Save your money and travel anywhere but Norway.

Oslo is one of the worst places in Europe to visit. No charm, nothing to do, boring, closed, over rated, over priced, crap

Kelly Marie, I can relate to your experience. I live in Norway. Oslo is the shittiest capital city in the whole of Scandinavia. You definitely did not experience "real Norway". It has the most spoiled douchebags, the most self-righteous, p.c. leftist assholes and the most shady, lowlife scumbag immigrants than all the other cities in Norway combined. And the ones who don't fall into those categories have "big city syndrome" because they think they are living in New York. They pretend to be so sophisticated - especially the ones who come from small towns or rural areas - once they move to Oslo. But then you see their true unsophisticated nature when they drink. Sadly, that's when you see most Norwegians' real personalities, come to think of it --- when they're drunk! Many think it's cool and acceptable, too, or they just laugh about it when you bring this to their attention. But in almost every other place in the Western world (except maybe the U.K), this "must get drunk to show my personality and be open" is seen as PATHETIC, infantile and a social disorder.

Wow and here I was planning to retire in Norway to get away from the 3rd world country that is Australia. But it looks like it is happening all over the world. Maybe I will move to Hawaii if that hasn't fallen to the Muslims or Islam too

Hello Erna :P
-
No one asks the Middle East to became more diverse and let in immigrants. It's just Western countries. Why is that?
-
Im born and raised in Norway and know more about Norway even you do. You perhaps have been on a tour and met some nice people i have been there for 30 years.

Nobody is completely white, we are all brown, some more, some less. Your tendency to use the word "white" to describe the colour of your skin clearly shows your prejudice. People with darker skin are not dirty or creepy, just darker. You should respect everyone's right to marry whoever they want. Organizing people according to colour is folly. Hitler wanted to do that, and failed miserably. People immigrate because they need food, not to annihilate your colour. Life is no game of othello.

I spent some time in Oslo, Norway, in 2011 and was absolutely shocked at how rude and unwelcoming the people are. I was pushed in a 7-11 store by a female Norweigan for no reason and I was stared at and followed by male immigrants from Somalia and Pakistan. There is graphitti, garbage, and spit everywhere and signs on the door that read: "Pickpocket Area". Somalians urinate openly on trees in the parks and sell drugs on the street corners. Everything in this town is extremely expensive and rape is rapidly becoming a HUGE problem there. 100% of the suspects are immigrants. This is footage I took during a parade on one of their national holidays.
I hope and pray that one day you will learn the truth.
God bless.
