You have to put this into context! Johaug is 5"4" tall and about a 100lbs but she is a pure human muscle! I would not be surprised if her resting heart rate was around 40! It is simple physics how she wins. If the race has any climbs; that is where Therese wins outright due to simple Physics! She carries about 20lbs less weight then Weng, Westberg, Kalla or Jacobsen

"She's so light and so strong!" That about sum's up why Johaug beats the field so easily!
Its a simple case of physics! She carries about 20lbs less weight up a hill than Weng, Westberg, Kalla, etc... with actually better fitness! GAME OVER! It is sad but Oestberg and Kalla will be playing for 2nd place for the next seven or eight years now!

Another knock on Goldstrom, does he not realize that in mass starts, the starter gives them 15, 10, 5, 1 minute and 30 second warnings? It's not like the starter holds them there however long he feels like it. "Another long hold..." Yeah, that's what countdown is. This isn't a sprint heat, David!

Before the race started, I wondered about two things: The first, after how seconds would Johaug attack, and second, by how many minutes would she win. I was just about spot on about when she would attack, but I was 1:15 off of how much she would beat 2nd place. Sorry Ingvild, I underestimated you!!
