Sick of comments on the "dry" crowd. Acting up in a Norwegian, protestant church is as strange as it would be not to join in during a Baptish Church service. This has nothing to do with Norwegian people being cold, but rather with the emphasis on truly listening during a performance. I'm not Christian, but at least that's my take on it.

Crowd looks sanctified, not sad. I'm sure, in this case, nico&vinz are the ones responsible for this - and not the Grand ol'man up there

nice song

Just because the crowd is quiet doesn't mean they don't enjoy the music. This christmas concert is held in a church, and Norwegian church "culture" is not like the American or whatever you're comparing it to. When you're in church in Norway you're quiet, very quiet. For example, you rarely hear applause in Norwegian churches, that's just how it is up here :) They're quiet out of respect, not because they're uninterested or unamused. Β
