Almost 2 years ago on April 5, 2015 I have a daughter name Chantel Armstead my 2nd oldest daughter and third child of 4 children. It all happen when I was out of town in Chicago, Ill I had received a call from my husband Jermone Armstead who's Chantel Armstead's father saying that she was sexualtory rape by her uncle who's my brother while I was out of town on the business trip . I had to call my mother to have my sister to meet me at the airport so when I got home to Miami, Florida . My then 15 years old Chantel Renee Armstead had told me through her crying and emotion that she was rape by her uncle Willie Henderson who's my older brother. I got so pissed and ready to fight him for what he had done to my daughter ( well our daughter ) and that's his niece , but because my mother said to both of us is to call the police station and they start a Investigation and charges against my brother but he deny and he said she came to him for Sex which it's was one big lie . Because they questioned Chantel Armstead and as a parent I was angry at my brother and want to do this on my own with no help but my mother n law and my mother said " baby you can't do this on your own so my husband and I had turn it over to Jesus and law enforcement , and let them handle the case what y'all need to do is to stand by your daughter " so we did just that also they arrested my brother Willie Henderson had pleaded guilty for sexualtory rape and attempted murder of my daughter Chantel Armstead on November 12, 2015 , and he was sentences to 70 years to life in prison. I thank God for fight for my baby girl, Jermone and I as her wonderful parents who stood right by her side and because I took my mother's advice I did just that . Now she's 17 years old in junior in Miami High School 4.0 GPA . My baby may had lost her future, but God had gave her another one a better future and she's now doing good much stronger than before because my baby girl is a survivor. Our life is in God's hands all you got to do is to let go and let God handle your future even your struggles, problems, and more troubles they don't last always and listen to Kirk Franklin song " My life is in your hands " has got us as a parents our daughter Chantel Armstead and rest of our children, and my family a justice, peace, and ease the pain .
