That LEAN maneuver was written about online. Just Google: How MJ Defied Gravity. In essence, MJ and the dancers weren't attached to harnesses or wires... they had special shoes where the heel of the shoe pegs into the floor; so that they are able to lean forward without falling flat on their faces. And then the peg in the stage retracts automatically to release the shoe. You can even see one dancer in black on the right at 4:26, where his shoe appears to get stuck and he has to dislodge it. Still cool though. MJ had a patent for it even!!
