It's funny cuz I used to love these K.T. Oslin songs when I was in my early 20s. They'd make me cry. Now here I am. Middle aged. Twice divorced. Single AF mother of 3. I'm listening to Two Hearts. Home from a night of karaoke, where I sang 80s Ladies. I don't cry when I sing them anymore. I just live these songs.

My least favourite song of hers is the second version of Two Hearts, a failed attempt to sound more soulful. Thankfully she didn't go further down that route

Just for further clarification: THIS is the ORIGINAL version released on 80's LADIES. It appeared on all the first pressings, but a newer version was recorded in the 90s and replaced the original on subsequent pressings of the album. You can still find original copies of the CD - just look on the back cover and make sure "Two Hearts" does NOT have an asterisk next to it!

KT puts them all to shame. She can deliver that emotion like nobody else.

My favortie of all artists; I adore her. I saw her opening for Randy Travis at the Fox Theatre tin STL in the late 80's and fell in love with her as an artist. She is sophisticated, (yet crazy, I am sure), full of class, and one of the greatest talents of all, as well as being grossly underrated as well as being before her time!!!

@angeleyedboidan Like you I had all her cassettes. I've listened to 80's Ladies so much the tape actually broke and I couldn't listen to it anymore. I was shocked to hear a different version of this song on the CD. This verson is much better, ty for telling me the name of the album, I'll definately be looking for it ☺ Country sure isn't what it use to be...

This is the best version of this song!! I recently replaced this cd '80's Ladies' and the song has been changed, I was so disappointed. Thx for posting I'll be listening to it for sure!
