Mr. Bell deserves a gold medal and a blue ribbon. This is a great piece for the orchestra as well. It's a great partnership and I LOVE it!
-
p.s. Aimson I received your E mail for some reason I made no comment prior until today about Joshua.

HEIFITZ Didn't show emotion but his playing was filled with emotions, but had one standard facial expression. Everything he played he knew backwards AND FORWARDS!!

I don't know who got the idea on this site that I said something deragetive about JB they have that all wrong I think Joshua is an AWESOME player and a stand out performer BECAUSE there are no longer any MILSTIEN 'S, STERN'S, OISTRAK'S, So in my humble opinion there is no better player out there alive "save" Itzak Perlman who is AWESOME in his own right
So as to set record straight because somebody said I posted some trash about Joshua which I DID NOT I LOVE HIS PLAYING !!! THERE'S ONE OTHER PLAYER THAT EVEN JOSHUA SAID WHEN IT CAME TO GREATNESS THAT EVEN HE ADMIRED AND THAT ONE NAME IS HEIFITZ, who in my opinion there never will be a violinist as great HEIFITZ he set the bar that every violinist strives to play as good as or better, he was the King. -
sarah chang's sibelius will always be my favorite

Thank you for sharing this wonderful performance with us. I enjoyed every second. I just wonder why so few of the audience stood up to applaud? Were they waiting for another, better, performance to come along? In this age of The X Factor, where people win standing ovations just for remaining upright, we have to recognise when we're in the presence of a great artist. I was almost standing up myself at the end. Why did so many of the audience remain seated? Is it just me...???
