Chinks must understand they will surrender to Japan soon. Do not provoke us!

Comments on MacArthur interesting. Truman couldn't tolerate Patton for his horrendous treatment of Holocaust survivors in the DP camps. Patton got himself demoted.

OMG! Finally after years of searching...@3.30 minutes start surrender of Yamashita, "The Tiger of Malaya," and the taking of swords...that's MY DAD ON THE RIGHT (sadly only his back...but I have the documentation!) If anyone finds more on this surrender.....

This must be the ultimate humiliation for the Japanese.

Fucking Japan right wing !!! Abe is doing same thing as he is grand-son of A-level war criminal Kishi Nobuske.

Truman explained all his troubles with MacArthur in a biography of his published in the 1960s. Seems that MacArthur was a kind maniacal SOB that wanted WWIII without caring for consequences. Truman also distrusted Chiang Kai Check, did not like Ike, and preferred economical development to arrest Communism instead of military confrontation. The Marshall Plan in the 1940s and the East Tiger economical development in the 1970-80s did much more to defeat the USSR than Korean and Viet wars.

The Emperor Hirohito knew that he was the only one with the authority to order the Japanese warriors to lay down their arms. In addition, he dispatched members of the Imperial Family to the vast stretches of the empire to enforce this order.

so funny huh?

Why wasn't Truman at the funeral? Truman, the man who FIRED MacArthur? And Eisenhower... you do know that Ike served under MacArthur, right? Ike was treated very badly by his boss (read up on the Bonus Army) and I don't think the two men cared for each other. Douglas MacArthur wasn't an easy man to be friends with.

When MacArthur died, both President Truman & President Eisenhower refused to attend his funeral. Why ? There was an unspeakable top secret involved. It is the Biggest Conspiracy of The Century. It is also the reason for continual hatred, disputes and conflicts in Asia to-day. Youtube ( Hirohito & Asia ‘s Stolen Treasures ) a secret involved 100 billions in 1945. US people & the world should know about it. The greedy mistake is seed for another catastrophic disaster. Be wise asap !
