love this song! I have many special Bobby's in my life. My dad being the most favorite Bobby. most likely if I would of had a son.. he would of been named bobby.. although this song is special to me because I have a friend with developmental disabilities and most morning back in the early 90's he would always want to play the Bobby song. yep you guessed it! his name is bobby. we world play bobby magee and hey bobby. I still see him and he still yalls about the bobby song. we will sing some of it without the music.. great memory.

K.T. appeared last night on the radio program "Intimate Evenings" hosted by Eddie Stubbs. It's an interview series that takes place, usually, at The Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame once a month. It airs on WSM radio. I couldn't hear all of it but he played a lot of her recordings and there happened to be a lot of laughter during the interview segments. They typically post audio links in the station's archive section.
