One can't help but wonder what would have come next with the original great five. This is innovative greatness. What a shame.

Musical geniuses! All of them ...Our Big Mac Daddys !!

Great to see the old Greeny here...obviously finding Jeremy's dodgy lip syncing hilarious

Soooooooo Goooooddddddddddd! Oh yeah!

Kirwan breaks a string at 12:14 and just carries on like a pro! you wouldn't even know he was missing a string

can't stand Jeremy Spencer. the same old shuffle, the same 12 barre blues.... every song. even when Green left in 1970, Spencer was doing the same old blues shuffles on "Kiln house". Danny Kirwan was the best thing that ever happened to that band. his inter-play with Green was magic. a lot of people say Green is better than Kirwan. I challenge those people to listen to "Fighting for Madge" and determine who is playing what. its impossible.

Nobody ever mentions Mick Fleetwood's drumming so I will! He was/is a great drummer---just watch his double shuffling on Shake your Moneymaker. Brilliant.

jeremy spencer rules ! Before being a children of god, I was already a blues child of god

is that roary Gallagher singing?

I have been a little unfair. I remember watching FWM, and loved watching Jeremy Spencer. He was class. But FLM did move on.

A great slide player obsessed with Elmore James , but 2 years later , the Mac went from covers, to being instrumental in making Britain aware of Blues music. Sorry, but Jeremy, just got headless and would have ended up in tribute bands, if not for Peter Green and Danny Kirwan, who made him famous. If Greeny had been a bad guy he would have sacked him. Instead he just let him shamefully shake his maracas. In fact by 1970 he was phased out. How could he live with Kirwan and Greens guitar playing. He never wanted, or could not play to lead standard. Rattle Snake Shake is probably the best ever recording of Green's amazing solo talent.
