As part of her European promo tour, Armenia's representative in Eurovision 2010 in Oslo, Eva Rivas visited Cyprus by invitation of the Armenian MP in the Cyprus Parliament Vartkes Mahdessian. During her stay Eva Rivas appeared with Hamazkayin's SIPAN Dance Ensemble's 10th anniversary performance and planted an apricot tree with Mayor of Nicosia Eleni Mavrou.
