It,s feels so good today a stewardess always wouln,t and acting be so strange trained. Both with their cabin-announcements and overal patience. PERFECT here on this special UA flight.

I honestly feel embarrassed for you ,what a nut to be talking while video taping, you talk when you are editing a video otherwise you look like a goof.

You fly often to Oslo?

Sheila thank you so much for your videos. I am planning a trip to Italy and you are really helping me with the planning.

Great video as always! How frequent do you get upgrades on international flights? I have seen two already (FRA-ORD) and (OSL-EWR) Greetings!
-
Love your videos, Sheila! I'm from Norway, and I really like this video. Flew this route 2 years ago, and I'm flying it this summer too to Newark where I'll have a connection to Tampa, FL!

Sheila.. Thank you for taking me on your journey's all over the world with United. I have been a Flight Attendant for United for 17 years! I am currently on a leave, but once I return, I look forward to welcoming you on one of my flights!! From all of us at United; THANK YOU, humbly, for your loyalty!!!!
Best regards- -
A roundtrip Economy class ticket from Chicago-Oslo is usually around $1,000. A Business Class ticket would be anywhere from $3,000-5,000 roundtrip. Thank goodness they upgraded us at no charge because they needed additional Economy seating.

What was the different in price ?

Best of luck to you!

As a now retired paratrooper, tell your husband I said "Semper Fi" and thank him for his service, too. I retired in 2009.

Husband Steve is/was a Marine (once a Marine, always a Marine) and volunteers at USO O'Hare. He and United Airlines will usually do their best to upgrade someone in uniform and help them out. Many United personnel and us also will buy drinks for service people on the plane. Thanks for serving!

Looks like a TV dinner! It's amazing how much different the treatment is between Coach and Business/1st class. Coach passengers are treated like cattle. The only time I was treated decently in coach was while in uniform on my way home from Iraq and Afghanistan. They didn't charge me for my drinks or meals, and they gave me emergency aisle seats free.

Yes, they were -- not that Economy Plus makes much of a distance on long flights.
http://www.TravelsWithSheila.com Flying from Newark to Oslo on another of United Airlines Boeing 757-200 narrow body jets wasn't "awful." We had emergency exit row seats by the door with plenty of leg room but food trays were even narrower than the plane! It was a real challenge eating without sending food all over the floor. Let's have a long rendition of the Hallelujah chorus on the Oslo to Newark return. United Airlines was oversold in economy and they upgraded us to Business Class; the first International free upgrade we've received in over a year. If that wasn't enough, the Thai-style spicy fish was beyond wonderful and could easily be my meal of choice at any nice restaurant. (This may be the first and last time you will ever hear me say that about airplane food... )
