It had a completely fake screen, it wasn't a working prototype, it was a dummy with a backlit picture for a "screen". If you watch as he closes it, you can still see what's on the screen after the backlight turns-off.

Curved display, vertical slide out keyboard?! They ripped off the Dell Venue Pro that ran windows phone 7. Not really original, but an entirely forgotten form factor.

Sign me up right now, it is going to be awesome!

I would rather see it as BlackBerry with android integrated not a straight up android phone disguised as a BlackBerry

That is really neat!

I think you are getting the names mixed up. The Oslo is the passport variant coming to China. The slider is what you are referring to and what's shown in your video.

This is just my opinion, I really don't know anything....but I kind of doubt its going to be a straight up Android device with Google Play Services, Play Store, etc. Sort of feel if this is real, they're going to do a forked version of Android. Sort of like what Amazon did. Also seems likely they'll have the Amazon App Store on it too. (Just my guess)
Can't really say why I feel this is the route they'll be taking... -
I agree with you 100%%

In this video I talk about the prototype of the BlackBerry in the image of this thumbnail. What are your thoughts on the BlackBerry code named OSLO that could ship with Full Android Software on board? Could this get you back on a blackberry?
