All the 10 elevators (6 passenger, 1 mixed use, 1 outside scenic and 2 staff) in this hotel are all still original since 1989! There are supposedly also 3 more somewhere in the hotel building. They're all built in the beautiful Finnish-Norwegian Scandinavian style. This is inside the tallest building and largest hotel in Oslo, Norway, constructed during 1989-90 and opened in March 1990 (originally known as the SAS Plaza - later Radisson SAS Plaza Hotel), built in the postmodernistic style, and it is today the second tallest hotel in the Nordic countries (after Scandic Hotel Victoria Tower in Stockholm, Sweden, which is 0,5m taller). In my opinion, this is also the most beautiful hotel in Oslo, and much more beautiful and more interesting than the Victoria Tower! It is 117 meters tall and has 37 floors (the elevators terminate on floors 33-34) and 676 rooms. This elevator doesn't have a down arrow on the 34th floor, and there is no 18th floor (technical floor only). Also, even the housekeeping staff are often using this elevator instead of the 2 assigned staff elevators...It looks like the elevator doors were updated around 1998 (it sound like that, and the black bumpers are deactivated).
