I wish i was born in 1975, so i would have grown up in 80s music and been 16 when my country emancipated so i could take part of singing revolution. Since i feel like talking about it my country was under control of Russia and our national flag was banned. But in 1991 the singing revolution took place. It was 300 000 people singing patriotic songs together(pretty much 1/3 of our population) and one guy drove by with our national blue-black-white flag. After that most people in the crowd rised their flags that they had bringed with them, in hope of taking them out. Since there were about 300 000 people holding banned flags, forces couldn't just shoot them all so it was a big step forward in total freedom. Idk just felt like sharing my late night thoughts... and I was born in 2001 so i'm counted under the shit that's living nowdays... oh well
